Students who are on the General Education curriculum, but receive Special Day minutes as part of their IEP, are provided instruction in a small group setting taught by a Special Education teacher for up to 4 academic subjects. We have one SDP (Special Day Program) for students with Specific Learning Disabilities.

  • Two self-contained classrooms for English and Math.
  • Physical Education is in the general Education setting.
  • Depending on the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), students may be enrolled in a general education elective

Special education services are academic, functional or behavioral instruction that differs from the general education curriculum. It is specially designed for the individual student’s needs. Under The Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) it is called specially designed instruction (SDI).
